Is it just me? It feels like most of us don't take care of our lips enough. I mean most of us put on lip balm, but how many of us actually use lip scrubs, lip serums or lip masks? I certainly haven't been doing that in the past. However, I've recently started trying out some of those products to see how effective they actually are and what they can do.
Our lips gets thinner, flatter, less prominent and wrinkly as we age. So, just like how we use anti-aging products on our skin to prevent it from aging, it's a good idea to add in one or two anti-aging lip products to our skincare routine to protect our lips as well (if you haven't already)!
I started using Rodial's Dragon's Blood Lip Masks recently.
They hydrate, smooths and plumps your lips, keeping
them looking younger.
Dragon's Blood: Helps prevent environmental damage to the skin and heal wounds, scars, rashes and much more.
Hyalurosphere: Plumps and hydrates the lips.
Hyaluronic Acid: Helps retain water within your skin cells, keeping the lips moisturized.
Suffruticosa (peony) Root Extract: People use this to heal cracked skin, which acts as a conditioning agent in this case.
Vitamin E: An antioxidant and a natural skin conditioning agent.
How to Use:
Remove mask from protection sheets on each side.
Apply directly to cleansed lips.
Leave it on for 15 minutes and peel it off.
Gently massage residues into lips.
These masks make my lips feel great and they are so easy to use. You can even use them at the same time as you use your face mask to same time - just make sure you apply the lip mask first, so you can work your face mask around it. I'm definitely going to start really taking care of my lips from now on, just like how I take care of my face. And these lip masks will for sure be added to my skincare routine.
Where to Buy:
How do you take care of your lips? Would you give these lip masks a try?
