Spring has been peeking in and out recently and I'm sure I'm not the only one that wishes for spring to arrive sooner than later. That being said, it's never too early to start thinking about changing up our wardrobes for the upcoming months. Spring has always been the season for us to start injecting colours into our outfits. So, why not start with some khaki this time around to ease our way into the colourful season!
Khaki is one of this spring's top trend. It has been spotted on the runway from J. Crew to Alexander Wang and Balenciaga. Some brands brought in new pieces such as hybrid of a trench coat & a cape, while others went back to khaki roots, trenches.
Khaki Outfit Inspo:
So instead of denim of denim, I went for a khaki on khaki look. Since khaki is such a masculine colour, I purposely paired two different tones of khaki to enhance my waistline and to give the look more definition. I love the silkiness of these pants as they kind of just flow down my legs giving a feminine touch to the look. This in turns allow the outfit to be brunch and work appropriate (other than for work environments that requires strict business attire). As for accessories, I decided to go with black to keep the masculine vibe. Since the temperature has been going up and down here in Toronto, I threw on a khaki jacket to finish of the look.
