Growing up, I was blessed to only have regular acne problems that most other teenagers had. Pimples growing here and there from time to time, especially during the 'stressful' times of exams. At those 'stressful' times, a giant pimple would grow near the tip of my nose and it was definitely not a great look. As I grew older and out of university, my skin had naturally gotten better with less pimples showing up. Now, I mainly just get them around my time of the month and at rare times when I get overly stressed.
During my high school years I didn't have a specific way to getting rid of my pimples, except for trying my best to drink more water and not touching or popping them. After I started working, I was able to invest in skincare products to help get rid of my pimples. However, those products expired before I could use up any of them because I was blessed to not have too many pimples. So, I decided to completely stop purchasing those items and just use natural remedies to help tone down the pimples when they appear. But as we all know, once in a while there would be special meetings or events that we need to attend to and these natural remedies may not be able to help reduce the look of pimples in time. So, I'm glad that MaskerAide's Spotted Anti-Blemish Clear Spot Patches came to my rescue.
Before I get into the spot patches, let me give you a little background on MaskerAide. It is a company that focuses on eco-friendly, non-toxic and anti-bacterial sheet masks that are great for those with sensitive skin. And they are currently expanding their range of skincare products. Their products are designed in Canada and made in South Korea.
These are MaskerAide's latest products. They come in two package sizes, a regular boxed size for C$25.00 (8 sheets with 12 clear patches per sheet) and a travel size for C$7.00 (2 sheets with 12 clear patches per sheet). Each sheet contains two different sizes of spot patches, which are perfect for your different sized pimples! These spot patches are dermatologist tested and they don't contain parabens, artificial fragrance and artifical pigments. Their key ingredients are: 0.5% salicylic acid, volcanic ash and tea tree oil. Those key ingredients help absorb excess oil and calm the redness.
How I use these spot patches for best results:
I use my washbeautyco. by MaskerAide with my favourite cleanser to exfoliate my face.
After patting my face dry, I simply peel and apply the spot patches to my active pimple or one that's just developing.
I'd remove the patch after leaving it on for about 8 hours during my sleep.
The night after or whenever I have time the next day, I would complete this routine with a mask.

These spot patches are worth a try - they do wonders. They provide perfect coverage for my pimples and stay on my face throughout the night. And no kidding, my pimples are pretty much gone each time I use them - there may still be a light mark from healing, but the pimple part is definitely gone. One thing I really like about these patches is that they don't dry out your skin, whereas some acne creams do.
They come in handy - like I mentioned earlier, they're perfect if you have a special event the next day. Plus, they're so easy to use. These patches do have an expiry date like any other acne products, however there are only 12 patches on a sheet and for those of you who are blessed with a minimal amount of pimples like me or you simply just want to try them out - the travel size package would be perfect for you or else the regular size would also be a great option.
