Hi beauties! Although I love trying out new and different beauty products, I still have a few items that I refer to as my holy grail. They are products that I just keep repurchasing time after time. Here are my top five beauty products that I'd love to share with you!
*Disclaimer: I'm not sponsored for this post nor did I receive any of these products for free.
All opinions are genuine and my own as always.
If I can only use one makeup product, it'd be a concealer. After I started putting make up on consistently after university, I tried a few concealers before finally discovering Makeup Forever's concealer. I mainly apply this on my dark circles and the darker areas of my face to even out my skin tone. Although it's cream based, it feels light on the skin. It doesn't leave a cakey appearance and provides a great coverage throughout the day. And just incase you're interested or curious, I use #6 Ivory.
Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado (C$38.00 to C$61.00)
As I have sensitive skin (especially near my eye area) - I need an eye cream that is not only hydrating, but also gentle on my skin. This avocado eye cream from Kiehl's does just that for me. Its main ingredients are avocado oil, beta-carotene and shea butter - so it's definitely hydrating and nutritious for the skin. The cream is pretty creamy, however it doesn't suffocate my skin at all. And most importantly, my eyes don't get an allergic reaction from this cream as I've had experienced with other eye creams. This cream comes in two sizes, so if you want to try this cream for a bit the small one would be perfect for you!
Laneige's Multi Cleanser (C$29.00)
I believe I actually first heard of this product from Bubzbeauty. Ever since the first time I got my hands on this cleanser, I never stopped using it. This multi cleanser acts as a makeup remover and an exfoliator. And that's what I love about it! It's a perfect multi cleanser for me, as I don't put on too much makeup on a daily basis. This cleanser also keeps my skin soft and doesn't dry it out. I used to have to ask someone that's visiting Asia or I had to travel to another city to an Asian beauty store just to repurchase this item. But now I'm so glad Sephora is carrying Laneige's products and I can finally restock this cleanser at ease.
Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion (C$9.67 to C$12.49)
Some of you may know that one of my favourite way to moisturizing my body, especially in the winter is by using baby oil. I've actually added vaseline in the mix recently since my skin does get pretty dry in the winter, but that would be another post if you beauties are interested. Using baby oil and vaseline as body lotion can be quite a task and takes much more time than applying regular body lotion. So, this brings us to Aveeno's Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion. I've been using this body lotion for at least 5 years now. The lotion is thick, but it doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all. The hydration it gives my skin and its soothing scent got me going back each time. This is definitely my favourite body lotion for spring, fall and winter!
OGX Conditioner (C$7.91 to C$10.99)
Keeping my hair hydrated and soft is very important to me, so it's key for me to find a perfect hair conditioner. Throughout the years I've tried out countless conditioners and I've never used one as moisturizing as OGX's conditioners. The one you see in the photo happens to be the one I'm currently using - I actually don't have a favourite one from their set of conditioners. I've tried four to five of their conditioners and I liked each one of them. They aren't only moisturizing, but they also smell very good. Each set of their hair products have different nourishing ingredients in them, so definitely take your time to see which benefits your hair the most.
