Dr. Belmeur Review | The Face Shop

(*Disclaimer: These products were sent to me, however all opinions are 100% genuine & my own.)

Hi beauties, I'm back with another skincare product review. I know I'm a little late on this review (as some of you may have seem these products from my Insta stories a month ago), but like always I never like posting up reviews when I haven't thoroughly tried out the products. I rather give it a bit more time in order to give you beauties my solid opinions. I've been testing out a few products from The Face Shop's Dr. Belmeur Collection for the past 2 months. I've incorporated them in both my morning & nighttime skincare routine. Before I get into my thoughts on the products, let me tell you a little more about this collection.

As stated in the 'Dr. Belmeur Skin Study Note' I received along with my Dr. Belmeur kit: "Dr. Belmeur is a cosmetic brand from The Face Shop formulated with pure ingredients and diagnosed safe by skin experts that helps you achieve beautiful, healthy skin that feels great. Skin-sync Rxᵀᴹ is Dr. Belmeur's custom-made formula that offers key solutions to common skin problems by skin-friendly activating of the plant-based component which is similar to the skin's structure."

Now that you know a little more about the line, let's get into the products!

(Note: Below are the 3 products I got to try out from this line,
all my opinions are solely based on these 3 products.
I can't speak for the other products from the line.)

DR.BELMEUR Daily Repair Toner

I've been applying this both in the morning & at night after washing my face. This mild toner is formulated without 9 addictives such as parabens, mineral oil & benzoic acid. In addition, it has allergen-free fragrance - making it perfect for sensitive skin.

Key Ingredients:

Phytoshpingosine・anti-bacteria & anti-inflammatory properties¹
Moroheiya・rich in vitamins and antioxidants²
Birch tree sap・reduce inflammation, purify & hydrate skin³

My Thoughts:

I found the toner pretty moisturizing and I loved how it didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all.

DR. BELMEUR Daily Repair Ato Salt Cream

This is a mineral salt cream that contains 8% dead sea salt, which provides deep moisturization & itch relief for dry skin. I've been using this cream during my nighttime routine, as it's suggested to be used during nighttime in the pamphlet I received along with my Dr. Belmeur kit. It's formulated without 10 addictives such as parabens, synthetic pigments & artificial fragrance.

Key Ingredients:

Sea Salt・Relieve skin ailments & enhance your skins ability to retain moisture
Peony Extract・Reduce itchiness, anti-bacterial & hydrates
Phytosphingosine・anti-bacteria & anti-inflammatory properties¹
Ceramide・restore moisture & fortify the skin’s natural barrier

My Thoughts:

I can't confirm that this cream helps with flaky skin or relieves itchiness as it claims, since I don't have those issues. But, I do think this cream is quite moisturizing & it did seem to improve my overall skin condition. This cream feels thicker in comparison to this line's moisturizer, however it doesn't feel oily nor does it suffocate the skin. I think this is a great cream to use, especially during this transitioning period from fall to winter.

DR. BELMEUR Daily Repair Moisturizer

As suggested by this kit's pamphlet, I've been applying this moisturizer in the morning. This is a low-irritant moisturizer that is formulated without 9 additives and has allergen-free fragrance in it. This moisturizer is supposed to calm sensitive skin & protect skin damaged by the external environment.

Key Ingredients:

Phytoshpingosine・anti-bacteria & anti-inflammatory properties¹
Moroheiya・rich in vitamins and antioxidants²
Birch tree sap・reduce inflammation, purify & hydrate skin³

My Thoughts:

This moisturizer is more liquidy in comparison to the Ato Salt Cream. I love how light it feels on the skin, yet it still provides enough moisturization for it. The only concern I do have is that it may not be moisturizing enough for my skin during the winter time. However, I think it's a great moisturizer for all the other seasons.

Overall, I enjoyed using these products and will continue to use them. I just have to see how suitable they are for my skin during the winter in terms of moisturization. If you're in the market for some new skincare products, I'd definitely recommend these products from Dr. Belmeur's collection, especially if you have sensitive skin!

I hope this review was helpful!
