Hi beauties! Christmas is my favourite holiday, because of all the festivities, family gatherings, food, gifting/giving and it also brings out the creativity side of me with all the decor and gift wrapping. On top of all that, it's always fun to dress up for all the different gatherings. Today I got some holiday/Christmas outfit inspirations for you. Whether you got an elegant party, cozy home party or anything else in between to go to, hope this post can inspire you!
I've been loving velvet this year, so I couldn't let this holiday pass by without featuring a velvet dress here! I chose this soft grey/silverish dress from Misa Los Angeles because it gives out this holiday vibe, while not overpowering with the typical red/green holiday colours. Just something different. I kept the look simple by pairing it with a pair of sparkly black & gold Bauble Bar earrings and a pair of black Opyum YSL Ankle Strap Sandal. To finish the look off, I think a nude lipstick would complement the dress colour very well.
Bold statement pieces are usually the inspirations to my trendy outfits. Lately I've been obsessing over berets and nothing screams out Christmas more than a bold red beret. I decided to use black as a base to allow the red to pop up. While sheer/lace tops continue to be in trend this season, the touch of gold mixed in with the black gives out a holiday vibe. I paired it with a front zip leather skirt from Free People to give an edgy feel to the look. To complete the black canvas, I paired it with Saint Laurent's Opium YSL Pump with gold heels to tie back in with the top. As for accessories, I used this red feather crossbody bag from Zara to match the beret. And finally, I would complete this look with a bold red lipstick.
For those who are having or attending a cozy home party or one in a casual environment, this would be the look for you! As some of you may know, oversized sweaters and sweater dresses are what I live in during the winter. You can wear this red oversized cable knit as a dress or a top to the event, eat as much food as you please and this knit will still provide you with the comfort you need! I pair this knit with a pair of suede thigh high boots and accessorized the look with a cute black bucket bag. To keep the look a casual one, I finished it off with a nude coloured lipstick.
