Smooth & Soft Hands with Fresh | Fresh Hand Cream Review

(*Disclaimer: These products were sent to me, however all opinions are 100% genuine & my own.)

Hi beauties, with fall's dry air and winter coming, there's definitely a need for some extra moisturizing hand cream. Plus, I wash my hands quite often, so you know they need some extra love! When I look for a hand cream, one of the key things I look at is its hydrating level. Some people, such as my mother (and please note this rating is only in accordance to what my hands need) needs only a 5 out of 10 hydration level from a hand cream. However, I personally need an 8 or 9 out of 10 hydration level for my hands to feel comfortable. By this I mean I have used vaseline here and there before, but my general go to hand creams are Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve and Glysomed's Hand Cream

But today we're not talking about those hand creams! I recently got my hands on 2 of Fresh's latest hand creams. I'm so excited to talk about them and share my thoughts of them with you guys! So, let's just get right into it.

(You can find out more about the company Fresh here)

The 2 hand creams I want to introduce you to today are: Fresh's Citron De Vigne & Fresh Honeysuckle Moisturizing Hand Cream. These hand creams are infused with 2 iconic Fresh fragrances (Citron De Vigne & Fresh Honeysuckle) and have creamy formulas that locks moisture in, while keeping your hands silky smooth.

Key Ingredients (for both):

  • Cupuaçu Seed Butter helps moisturize, nourish and promote your skin's suppleness
  • Sal Seed Butter helps soften your skin and prevents it from dehydration
  • Shea Butter helps moisturize and nourish your skin
  • Vitamin E helps protect, soften and soothe your skin

This hand cream has a sparkling citrus scent to it. The scent was inspired by Fresh Co-founder Alina Roytberg’s visit to France’s Champagne region.¹ Needless to say, this citrus scent is not like any other citrus scent from other regular creams. I'm normally just alright with citrus scents in creams, however I genuinely like this specific citrus scent. It smells like it got some other light mixture of fruits in there and you do get that light champagne/sparkling smell as well.

This hand cream has a fresh floral scent to it. The scent was inspired by Fresh Co-founder Lev Glazman’s stroll through the French countryside.² It is such a calming and relaxing scent. I love the light sweet scent it gives off. I haven't come across any hand creams with this scent before, so to me it's one of a kind and I quite like it!

My Thoughts

I honestly love the smell of both these hand creams and they are actually more moisturizing than I expected. The reason I say that is because I've tried pricier hand creams before and they didn't do the job for me. I mean they did have unique and lovely scents, but in terms of moisturization they were a little disappointing. With those previous 'not so great' experiences with other brands that offer unique scent hand creams, I didn't know what to expect from these ones.

Now that I've tried them, I can conclude that I would recommend these hand creams. I can't speak for Canadian winter weather yet, but they definitely do the job for Canadian fall weather. Not only do they provide lasting moisturization, but they really do make your hands feel soft and smooth. Plus, these hand creams come in the perfect size for your purse - I already started carrying mine around. If you're interested in purchasing one, I'd suggest you to go to your local Sephora or Fresh store and smell their Citron De Vigne and Fresh Honeysuckle fragrances first to find out which scent you personally like more! I personally like their Fresh Honeysuckle just a tad bit more!

If you've tried these hand creams before, let me know what you think of them in the comments below!
If you haven't tried them yet, but you use their Fragrances - which one's your favourite?

Thank you so much for dropping by and reading!
Happy Sunday beauties, have a lovely week ahead!
