Hi beauties! Mother's Day is coming up in 2 weeks and here are a some gift ideas for you if you are still looking for the perfect gift for that special woman in your life.
Spa & Beauty Things
I believe that mothers should be pampered everyday, but sometimes life does get busy and a full day of relaxation doesn't come easy. So bundling a few spa items is the perfect way to remind her to spend a little time for herself whenever possible. This little spa/beauty basket can include items such as: a cleansing brush set, bath bombs, candles and a soft comfy bath robe.
Perhaps there's been an item that she has been eyeing for or there's something that she needs for the summer. I got my mother a sun hat last year and she absolutely loved it - it's something practical and something that she actually needed. So whether it is a pair of sunglasses or a wallet that also fits her phone in there, I'm sure she'd love it!
Subscription boxes are becoming increasingly popular in these recent years. They are generally boxes are filled with goodies from a variety of brands within a specific category such as healthy lifestyle, beauty, yoga, tea and many more. Most of them give you the option of subscribing on a monthly basis, 3 month basis, or on a yearly basis. One of the subscription boxes that I personally think would be great for my mother is the Little Life Box. It is a health-based subscription box that offers 8 to 12 new items each time with a mix of full sized and sample sized healthy snacks, ethic beauty items and much more. They even have a box for vegans! Little Life Box has a Mother's Day Gift Box available for ordering till April 28th. So definitely check them out if you're interested cause I think there are limited quantities left!
Sentimental things will always win a mother's heart. Here are a few gift ideas that will put a smile on her face: 1) Blow up her favourite family photos, so she can hang them on the wall. 2) Put together a video of a few video clips of you and other family members saying 'I love you' to her along with a set of family photos. 3) Create a photo book for her.
Quality Time with HER
As we grow older, quality time together is what mothers treasure the most. Or should I say, it goes both ways because I treasure those moments a lot as well (especially since I don't live in the same city as my mother). Go on a brunch date with her or take her to high tea. Get a hair cut or mani/pedicure together. Go to a spa resort with her. Better yet, plan out the entire day and surprise her if possible - because she definitely deserves it!
Hopefully this list was helpful to you. Leave me a comment and let me know what your plans are for mother's day- I'd love to hear all about it!
Thank you for reading & have an amazing week ahead!
