Since I currently live in Toronto, Canada and grew up in Ottawa, it only makes sense for me to talk about winter boots with you guys - and I mean 'real' winter boots (aka snow boots) that are waterproof and can withstand the freezing cold temperature we get here (i.e. -30°C).
As a kid, my parents always dressed me in those chunky snow boots. However when I got to the age where I started styling myself, I refused to wear anything but those slim fitted and fashionable winter boots. Or should I say, winter boots that didn't keep my toes warm even after wearing 2 to 3 layers of socks and sometimes even got my feet wet.
And now the older I get, the more I am afraid of the cold - so I got back into wearing snow boots these recent years (and of course fashionable ones). I currently wear Ugg's Adirondack Tall in the colour 'otter' and have been loving them - a definite recommendation. These boots are made from waterproof leather and water resistant suede. The best part is that the interior of the boots are fully covered in wool with removable wool insoles making the boots extra warm and comfy. This pair of boots is able to withstand temperature as low as -20°C.
As much as I love my current boots, there are other pairs of boots that are also waterproof and can withstand the temperature in Canada that I wouldn't mind rocking! All the boots listed below (excluding the Hunter boots) can withstand temperature as low as -20°C to - 40°C. As for the Hunter boots, you will need to wear their 'Original Down Boot Socks' along with a pair of 'Stitch Boot Socks' or a pair of thick socks inside them in order for the boots to withstand -10°C to -20°C. For more information on the boots below, click on the specific boot and you will be guided directly to it!
Feel free to comment below and let me know what pair of winter boots you're currently rocking or have been eyeing - I'd love to know!
Thank you so much reading // Have an amazing week ahead!
